When planning an advertisement video, any images, logos, sounds or video footage must be original or legally licensed. Content taken from the internet cannot be used without permission, as it may be protected by copyright. During production, failing to follow copyright laws could result in the advert being removed or legal action being taken against us. Another legal constraint is human rights. We must ensure everyone the right to privacy and protection from misrepresentation. During the planning stage, consent must be considered for anyone appearing in the advert.
